The Hot Seat

San Francisco based company, Covell & Jones, created the latest in heater furniture.  Aptly name Hearth, this handmade bench warms from within.  Seating four, the cast stone surface sits atop a powder coated steel base.  Inside the seat is an integrated variable control system for energy efficient heating.  Using standard 120v power, 1500watts, 12.5 amps, each piece is plug in ready.  Order today! Lead time is 8-10 weeks.

Covell & Jones is a design + fabrication studio that builds stylish solutions for outdoor living spaces. Their goal is to make products that challenge the expected package of how furniture should look and perform.

As someone who enjoys spending time outside all year round, but who also likes to keep nice and warm, this is an amazing idea.  Let's face it, outdoor heaters do little to keep you warm and if there is the slightest breeze, forget about it.

Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Florale

As Seen on Julib:

Perrier-Jouët has unvelied the Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Florale Edition by Mokoto Azuma - the first limited edition design of cuvée Belle Époque since the creation of its iconic anemone bottle by Emile Galle. The renowned Japanese floral artist created the unique bottle with a single delicate botanical arabesque dotted with white Japanese anemones - the original flower chosen by Gallé. In Mokoto's version, the flowers are suspended in a three-dimensional frame where the composition of white, green and yellow take inspiration from the sensation of champagne inside the mouth and the delicate movement of ivy and leaves. Of course, his tribute to Gallé's anemones revives history and connects a glorious past to a gorgeous present.

The artist spent months in his floral studio studying the bottle and flowers to create the perfect scene. The result breathes new life to the brand and iconic look of Perrier-Jouët Belle.

A True 'Fan'

Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. is pleased to walk brides down the aisle in the epitome of wedding day shoe couture – a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.*

From now until December 2013, weddings that exceed a total cost of USD 50,000, will entitle the bride to USD 1,000 towards the purchase of a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes from Neiman Marcus at Mazza Gallerie.  A member of the hotel catering team will accompany each bride to the store located in Chevy Chase, MD, where she will enjoy a fitting complete with champagne, small bites, a monogrammed shoe bag and signature gift bag.
“In an effort to create a special wedding package, we looked within our own company for inspiration and found it in our ‘fan’ Christian Louboutin and his iconic shoes,” said Tiffany Gannon, Director of Catering & Event Management.  “We’re delighted to share Louboutin’s passion for perfection with our stylish and discriminating brides who look to Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. to create an exceptional wedding experience that they will never forget.”
